AI and automation

I am not interested in classic project management with a few AI tools added on. I am interested in how to run a project that is built around AI agents from the very start.

I do my own project work with coding agents. Weekly status reports, timesheet checks, meeting preparation and steering committee material come from data, not from memory. I have shared these routines in the company's agent toolbox, so other project managers use them too.

For a telecoms client I built and defended a method for measuring, evidencing and pricing the benefit of AI in development, role by role. It is now the standard for offers on that account. For an e-shop I set the rules for agents in a mixed team: what an agent may do on its own and where a person has to decide. At a bank I took an AI chatbot from the offer all the way to production and a signed operating contract.

For every automation I ask how we will know it is really helping. And if it is not, we switch it off.
